I posted one of when the singer Taylor Swift came to the RMH and before Brooke would let her have a hug, she first wanted Taylor to be aware of the needle in her chest port. It was a moment that caught everyone off guard, including Taylor I think, and one of the employees of the RMH snapped a photo of the moment. It is an emotional picture for me because I know how intimate Brooke is about her port, and I am not sure Taylor Swift expected to see it either. It is a compassionate photo full of innocence in the unexpected.” -Brooke’s mom.
